Shipping is now available via UPS to the entire United States! In each order you’ll find your bacon along with a couple stickers! Slabs are shipped frozen with ice packs and insulation, and because they’re vacuum sealed, if the ice packs melt before delivery the bacon is fine at room temperature for about 7-10 days. It’s also currently winter, so that definitely helps!
You may be asking yourself, “How do I take advantage of this wonderful development?!”, and I’ll tell you! Reach out to me via the Contact page with your order, specify that you’d like your order shipped, and please provide your name and shipping address. I’ll reply to confirm details and provide your order total, as well as your tracking number once your order has shipped.
During the next 6 months I’m planning on having a more reliable cold packing solution involving dry ice and styrofoam inserts, so we’ll see how that goes, it seems that weight is the biggest factor so the more lightweight I go, the cheaper shipping should be…here’s hoping!
